Ex-Teacher Pleads Guilty To Sex Charge - Jacksonville News Story - WJXT Jacksonville

This case is a clear example of how the legal system extracts grossly unfair standards from within our laws,... laws that are suppose to be enforced equally. Had this case involved  reversed sex roles with a male perpetrator committing the same sex crimes against a young girl, he would  have received no less than13 years in prison, not 13 months! Clearly, it goes without saying, double standards exist within Duval County Courtrooms. Furthermore, based on case facts and the tender nature of the offences, there must have been a true conspiracy of cooperation from within the State Attorney's Office as well. This women must be very well connected within the legal community to have benefited from such an obvious judicial partnership.Her sentence amounts to little more than the proverbial "slap on the wrist." As usual with many news stories such as this, NEWS4JAX with it's crumbling journalist standards, have omitted critical facts from the story line. One can only imagine why NEWS4JAX didn't bother to mention the presiding judge by name who sanctioned this dubious piece of legal work...

  1. This is a statewide problem in dealing with sexual offenders of both genders, not a discrepancy in the sex of the offender. At least she got some prison time instead of just probation.
