Today, with the stroke of a pen, our half-breed, tyrant President gave government what it has always dreamed of, ...the end of "Due Process" and, an open season on citizens and government critics. Perhaps the most frightening aspect of this dangerous power is that no "burden of proof" is even required for it's application. By offering-up Gingrich, the "Party of No" is now acknowledging that loosing the election in November is little more than a forgone conclusion. Newt Gingrich is nothing short of political leftovers from a has-been era of party success and overt corruption. He brings nothing new or resourseful to the Party or the nation. Just the same old insider concepts about how only career politicians like himself know how to run Washington and the country. Clearly, Gingrich will have the upper hand as GOP hopefuls jockey for position at Saturday night's live debate. You can expect him to dominate if not completely control the event with his bottomless bag of orator tricks and impromptu drama skills. Also, Newt will no doubt draw upon his command of historical facts to bedazzle a national Republican audience longing for but, not yet seen a worthy Obama contender. However, it's going to take more than fancy speeches and political posturing to win in November. Gingrich must first overcome his own liabilities and tons of personal baggage just to win the nomination,... not to mention the general election. Right now most American voters are adamantly opposed to self-serving,"Washington Insiders" and unfortunately if one were to research the term, in Webster's dictionary, you would find, ..."See Newt Gingrich." Also Newt set off a lot of legal and political fireworks when he was exiled from his own party back in the late 1990s. During that era, he was barely able to avoid criminal charges as Congress forced him to resign as Speaker of the House. Like the "Terminator", he vowed openly,..."I'll be back!" Every citizen in Florida should be outraged over this dubious piece of pig pal police work. Here we have the worse possible DUI scenario known to law enforcement. A policeman stone cold drunk in a taxpayer owned patrol car. A person sworn to uphold the laws of Florida passed out like a drunken pig behind the wheel. A fine case for doing first by example. So, what do his law enforcement buddies do?... Give him a "get-out-of-jail-free" card and, send him off on a paid vacation. Sweet Deal, no doubt !!! Anyone else would go straight to jail. Now, on top of all that, the mad as hell, Police Director is going to spend tax dollars conducting a dog & pony show investigation. How nice ! He wants to know who give this drunken dirt bag a free pass. Like it takes an official investigation to determine what is already a matter of police records. That's just plain insult to injury folks. All of this makes thinking people of Florida ask the questions,...how much longer are sub-standard cops going to receive special soft treatment as paid public servants? and,...Why are they not given the same treatment as the people that pay their salaries are? What we have here is a basic display of tribal mentality trying to defend the fallen Mr.Maxey. On one front the student and adult organizers try to justify the principals actions and behavior simply because he is a popular black leader. We often see this brand of thinking when black people vote in an open election. To them, it doesn't matter what a black candidate has done. They will vote black across the board just because of black candidacy and,... no other reason. On the second front, these students want to justify the original thefts by shifting blame to the victims questioning the value and placement of stolen items. By somehow suggesting had these valuable items not been in the lockers to begin with, no crime would have actually occurred. Brilliant street logic for such young, uneducated criminal minds. Mr.Blagojevich is now set to pay for his political crimes,... RIGHT In just a matter of time, he will enter prison with no doubt,...a very privileged status. However, don't expect this to be the end of this colorful game cock rooster. This man comes from Chicago and that means his arsenal is truly never empty. He may look beaten in the press right now however, like Al Capone, he has wine cellars full of weapons and the supported means to use them as well. He may serve a little time, perhaps long enough to write his book, but, no where near the14 years handed down during his memorable trial. Like Samson, Blagojevich still has enough hidden strength within him to bring down the "Temple of Illinois." After all, he was the king of corruption and no doubt holds secrets all the way to the White House. Some where down the line, "Blago" will play his get out of jail free card and go home to his wife and kids. Most likely it will be a new trial deal, time served or a political pardon that sends him back to old Chicago. Rest assured, this is by no means the final chapter in the Saga of Rod Blagojevich. They will stop at nothing now to achieve that end and consider obtainment an absolute goal for their nation's foreseeable future. Once acquired, Iran will become the most dangerous nation in the Middle East, if not the entire World. It will try to dictate not only it's own future but the future of the entire Middle East as well. It would literally be allowing an unleashed monkey to posses a gun,... a very large gun. Releasing a cyber worm into their system's back doors is not only appropriate but most likely legal in the eyes of most civilized nation's. Who cares where it's creation comes from. It's an excellent non-lethal path to slow down Iran's nuclear progress until other avenues of suppression are sought and deployed. Besides, Iran has made it's political opinion very clear concerning Israel's right to exist in the Middle East. That fact alone justifies any and all steps to shut down their nuclear ambitions and other plans for regional aggression. At this point Iran is genuine challenge, if not a threat, to our national security as she intimidates her own neighbors and the international flow of oil. Iran must be stopped and stopped soon. That truth most likely is, that once Weaver is out of the picture, the Jags, like the Baltimore Colts, will be sold and or moved to another town. This likelyhood is very self-evident by the fact that the new sole owner has no written agreement that requires he keep the Jags in Jacksonville. That makes all of Weaver's passionate assurances almost worthless at this point. More legislation is always the typical public outcry when something like Penn State occurs and rolls into the national spotlight. People act so shocked and outraged thinking and saying better laws would have prevented this from happening. However, lack of legislation did not allow these acts of perversion to happen or to continue . They went on for a long time and a lot of people knew about them all along the way which time will undoubtedly prove.The list of complaisant character involvement here reads like a great political conspiracy novel with a very bad ending. However in the final chapter it won't be politicians at fault this time. It will be the Police, the Judges, the School System and the Government at large that allowed these crimes to continue unabated,...certainly not the lack of good existing laws. Also at blame here, is the modern day, politically forced acceptance of Homosexual behavior. The open acceptance of gay existence has now desensitized the very nature of it's close neighbor and cousin, "Pedophilia." Perhaps now those who supported same sex behavior in the past will see for the first time the real direction of the Gay life style and the Gay Agenda...

One can certainly tell by Mr. Cain's present attitude towards openness, and the press that he will transform the Oval Office into another Reich Chancellery if in fact he is elected our president. He and his staff continue to equate and paint him as a media battered victim of racism when in fact he's just a garden variety sex pervert. Instead of debating entitlements, he should be debating the need for raising taxes on the rich. Therein lies the answer to our economic woes. The class entitlements that Cain and other Republicans want to gut for a so called balanced budget, are the last remaining benefits for working American citizens. Everything else has already been butchered. Without those crumbs earned over a lifetime and entrusted for safe keeping with our government, the streets would fill with retired homeless Americans. If any entitlement is stripped, it should be from undeserving illegal and undocumented aliens. They are a genuine tax burden that neither party will attack out of fear of an election backlash. Which once again demonstrate that the American citizen is the last thing on our political leaders minds. Like William Randolf Hurst said,..." a politician will do anything to keep his job, even become a patriot." ...May they all rot in HELL !

Now, this is a piece of potential legislature that's long overdue. For decades now, the NFL has pressured, bullied and bribed it's way into Florida city budgets with limited or no return to local taxpayers. They have used the passion of sporting events to feed the cash coffers of franchise owners and their own bottom line. The NFL uses taxpayer dollars for stadium perks and improvents to hedge it's maketing value and to glorify local franchise opportunities. However, to the average taxpayer that, can't afford an NFL ticket,...that means next to nothing. If the NFL wants to continue obsorbing taxpayer money, it needs to step down from it's arrogant position aloft and allow the games to go forth. This of course is a big step backward for the NFL in it's ultimate plan to make all NFL games eventually,..."PAY FOR VIEW." Good luck with paving the parking lots with gold there NFL...

Such sacramental Cowards, what position do they represent anyway, Gay and Lesbian behavior??? The Church has now publicly surrendered it's centuries old position on Homosexual behavior! This new drug testing law is like an iceberg upon the water. You can only see what's on the surface while the real danger lies just beneath the distorted water line. Our slick-ass governor and his pals in law enforcement sought to collectively trample many areas of our Constitutional rights with this poorly disguised junk law. Had he gotten away with this open assault on our rights and privileges, you would have seen many new such conditional requirements in other areas of state entitlement such as Unemployment Compensation or Medicaid just to mention a few.Historically, we all know that when the state gets an inch, it will always take an additional mile. Perhaps though, the most amazing part about this unlawful attack is that Scott with all his arrogance thought he could actually circumvent existing Federal HIPPA Laws by openly allowing medical test results to go to law enforcement. They in turn pay-off U.S.politicians who sponsor and pass these treasonous arrangements. On the surface these agreements promise to serve the free world with both growth and prosperity. However in reality, they deliver next to nothing to common peoples on either side of the trade contract and subsequently create a U.S. trade deficit. They serve only their masters and they serve them well. Ultimately and clearly our own leaders are responsible for the loss of millions upon millions of American jobs. Since NAFTA was implemented in 1994 it has continued to eat away steadily at our national economy like a deadly cancer. Now, because of those job losses, we have a surplus labor force that continues to drag down the wages of what few jobs still remain in this country. Yet, our leaders could care less. Republicans, Democrats,...they're all the same when it comes to the selling of America.That's why they enter politics,...so they can get a piece of America's ass too! When you add up all the damage these convoluted agreements have caused, along with off-shore jobs losses and the selling-off of so many American Companies, you can clearly see why the American economy is in the toilet. Republicans are always the first to condescend to what they fear or what they fail to understand. However in this case the party of "No" understands all to well what "Occupy Wall Street" means in terms of their political objectives and their party's future as well. Quite frankly, it's got them as nervous as a whore in church. For they know all to well that a movement such as this can easily scuttle their big plans to retake the White House and Congress come next fall.What scares them the most is that these protests,which grow daily, are aimed squarely at their election resources and not necessarily the Obama Administration, as they would hope for. Try as they may, the Republicans can never erase the facts that it was eight years of Bush rule that laid the ground work and structure for today's economic woes.They would love nothing more than to lay all of America's problems at Obama's doorstep.What the Republicans don't see or understand is that the protesters don't care why or who started the problems. They don't see one side of the aisle from the other, at least not yet. Unfortunately, the citizens of Duval County had best get use to "Rutherfords Revenge". This is the Sheriff's way of poking the taxpayers in the eye with his "I told you so" stick. Like a fat kid with the only football on the block, he's telling everyone that if he can't be the captain and get his way, he's taking the football and going home.Ultimate revenge for the city council not passing his overstuffed cop budget. Well, this time his ass was saved by a good citizen. However, this story could have had a much sadder and different ending. This women saved Rutherford's butt, plain and simple, and all the department's chatter about triage or categorical assignment are just smoke and mirrors.This child almost fell into the dark cracks of police ineptness.No one at the Sheriff's Office knew for sure who this women really was until later on as the situation unfolded. For all they knew, it could have been Casey Anthony. If this child had belonged to a cop, police reaction and the news headlines would have been much different in deed. Sarah Palin is simply not presidential material. She's not even gubernatorial material for that matter. According to the all knowing Channel 4 News, "the cuts represent about 4% of the 1,651 Jacksonville officers on the force before layoffs began." Well, in balance against the backdrop of Florida's near 11% unemployment, that's really not all that bad. Notwithstanding their given heir of entitlement, the police had to know this day was coming and, the Sheriff had to know it could have been avoided. Had Rutherford represented other options more tactfully to the overall force, many if not all these jobs could have been saved. Apparently giving up the free ride program, a slight cut in pay and increasing retirement contributions was to much to ask of his faithful. Like Tony Montana said,..."look at you now"!

Well as usual, the Jacksonville Jaguars are off to their standard unimpressive start. At 1-3 most enlightened fans know exactly where this season is headed and exactly where Jack Del Rio is headed . Rumor has it, his house and boat are already up for sale. So, perhaps it is time for Jack to hit the showers and quietly pack his bag. Given his dismal record and stats while here in Jacksonville, one has to now contemplate that perhaps many of the roster changes Jack made were simply professional cover for his own coaching inadequacies. Small wonder it is then that some players released in the past by Jacksonville went on to SuperBowl success. Perhaps Jack's great legacy will be that he firmly cemented the Jags future here in the River City. After all who want's to buy a losing football team in a broken economy...

After making his soft arrest, the Police are already conducting a campaign of sympathy for him.Good money says this killer cop will receive the highest level of consideration and leanancy possible from authorities. By the time this case is through, the Sheriff's Office will have the facts so distorted, the record will boldly suggest it was justified self defence.In the end, this man who obiously can't deal with a simple domestic issue probably won't receive much jail time,... if any at all. This case is a clear example of how the legal system extracts grossly unfair standards from within our laws,... laws that are suppose to be enforced equally. Had this case involved reversed sex roles with a male perpetrator committing the same sex crimes against a young girl, he would have received no less than13 years in prison, not 13 months! Clearly, it goes without saying, double standards exist within Duval County Courtrooms. Furthermore, based on case facts and the tender nature of the offences, there must have been a true conspiracy of cooperation from within the State Attorney's Office as well. This women must be very well connected within the legal community to have benefited from such an obvious judicial partnership.Her sentence amounts to little more than the proverbial "slap on the wrist." As usual with many news stories such as this, NEWS4JAX with it's crumbling journalist standards, have omitted critical facts from the story line. One can only imagine why NEWS4JAX didn't bother to mention the presiding judge by name who sanctioned this dubious piece of legal work...

This story is a perfect example of why people don't vote anymore. During the last major election, the voters of Florida went to the poles and voted on a Constitutional Amendment that barred lawmakers from using "redistricting" to achieve reelection or other political agendas. At that time, the message was abundantly clear to Florida Legislators that voters had, had enough. They were tired of elected officials constantly stacking the deck in their favor. Under Florida law, this constitutional amendment met all the procedural and legislative requirements to be placed on the state election ballot. It was then overwhelmingly approved by voters. In addition to the election results, a Federal Judge in Miami upheld the new amendment on September 9th. of this year. However, a number of threatened politicians like Corrine Brown and Mario Diaz-Balart continue in their ongoing campaigns to negate the will of Florida voters. Both these self-serving politicians have nothing to lose and everything to gain if they are successful in suppressing the will of the people. Both have enjoyed the benefits of reelection because of the redistricting which occurred after the 2,000 U.S. Census. Also both will most likely be defeated in their next reelection bid if and when the amendment goes forth. If their attempts are ultimately successful then, rigged reelections in Florida will continue to carry on. More importantly though, it will tell the people of the Sunshine State that their written Constitution isn't worth the paper it is printed on and, the right to vote in Florida is little more than public pacification...

With postmortem fantasies, they depict the contemptuous lives of dead public figures as epic novels. They try to create greatness when and where it never existed. Kirk may have been affectionately know by his cronies as "Kissing Claude" (not sure what he was kissing) however, the public knew him professionally as "Kirk the Jerk." This is a man that once sought out interviews with Florida death-row inmates only to assure them he would sign their death warrants if elected governor. He also, like George Wallace, was adamantly and personally opposed to court ordered School Busing during the great Civil Rights Era. Kirk may have been affectionately know by his cronies as "Kissing Claude" (not sure what he was kissing) however, the public knew him professionally as "Kirk the Jerk." This is a man that once sought out interviews with Florida death-row inmates only to assure them he would sign their death warrants if elected governor. He also, like George Wallace, was adamantly and personally opposed to court ordered School Busing during the great Civil Rights Era. Also, after viewing the now famous "Kent State"massacre photo of Mary Vecchio kneeling over a dead student's body, Kirk publicly called her "a dissident Communist." How much charm can one man have? However, the most compelling and amazing issue with this glossed-over work is, how quickly Harding's case was downgraded to "Reckless Driving." Normally that takes month's of legal wrangling, lots of cash and a Lincoln Lawyer to achieve. Harding managed to accomplish it in under ten working days.That has to be some kind of legal record. Also NEWS4JAX posting a link to Harding's Resignation is pure smoke and mirrors on his behalf. Had this been a real piece of journalism, you would have found a link to his written Police Affidavit, after all, it's public record. Assuming it wasn't rewritten for his benefit, it will contain all the alleged facts surrounding his "soft" arrest. This is pure greed and exploitation conceived by UNF's "ambulance chasing" president John Delaney. This is what happens when an institution of higher education chooses a lawyer for it's president instead of a leader with educational credentials and agendas. Delaney is dramatically driving up the cost of education and preventing many otherwise qualified students from attending UNF. The sad part about all this highway robbery is that when many students graduate there is nothing waiting for them except mounting student debt. Like UNF, many colleges today have been restructured into "cash cows" rather than institutions of learning. They over promote, over advertise and over promise the great American dream if you but only attend their school. They lour as many students as possible into their trap knowing most of them can qualify for Federal Aid dollars. While many institutions profess the loftier cause of educating in the end for many however, it's all about the money...

Perhaps now they'll accept all the collective court rulings to that cause and end. If she does nothing else, Michele Bachmann brings humor and mild drama to the early campaign trail. After Iowa, I have no idea what the Republicans will do for in-house entertainment. Perhaps Newt Gingrich can do a juggling act or write another hilarious "Contract With America." Michele's big problem is she has nothing intelligent to say once she stops the Obama bashing. According to her own aides, there's a 20% chance she'll fumble her talking points or misquote critical facts in a speach. Also she has been caught in several misleading statements concerning her personal affairs. I was just wondering if she can see Russia from Minnesota too?...

Passing laws to placate the masses is not only pointless,...it's dangerous as well. The problem with this notable case is not a lack of legislation but a lack of prosecution. The State Attorney tried to prove to the jury that the world is indeed flat. They simply went to far to try and prove a case that wasn't supported by hard evidence. Since we are a nation of laws and not of passions, Casey Anthony got away with murder. Had they have settled on a lessor charge, like manslaughter, this worthless excuse for a mother would be behind bars right now writing a book no one would ever read.We all want justice for little Caylee however, passing a vague, single purpose law that will be forgotten in a year is not the answer.

Now that all the cash cows have been slaughtered and the coffers emptied, Boehner and his buddies want to steal what little is left from the aging, the sick and the poor. For decades Politicians have allowed the financial hemorrhaging of the American economy to go unchecked and unabated. They've approved and financially rewarded corporations that send millions of jobs off-shore every year. They have permitted and promoted foreign interest in the purchasing of countless American corporations. Last but not least, many politicians have become grotesquely rich off of Foreign Trade Agreements that undermine American manufacturing might. Expecting our national economy to recover from all that is like expecting an 80 year old man to win an iron man event. The time has come for Congress to make the rich give something back to the American economy by starting to pay their FAIR share of the American tax burden.The Republicans have protected their wealthy friends for far to long. The very idea of cutting a sick old woman's medical needs to help pay for a rich man's world-class vacation is infuriating. Those who have the most should give the most. They say, "the first casualty of war is truth."That simple one-liner couldn’t contain any more ironic overture than it does right now in America and right now here in Jacksonville as well. As political advisers and strategist blow the dust off their electoral arsenals, early battle lines are now clearly being drawn. For the next fourteen months America must endure, like Ft. McHenry, the constant shelling and bombardment of political ads, misinformation and outright artifice. This non-stop political shelling will be more intense and heavier than ever before simply because the presidential stakes are so much higher than ever before. Unfortunately, as in all wars, there comes the inevitability of victims and spoils. To the victims goes the shallow, almost pointless right to vote however, "to the victors goes the right of "spoils." This upcoming election like so many in the past, the true victor will be the media and it’s endless quest of harvesting political advertising dollars. To that end, News4Jax now stands as the local blue ribbon winner for it’s recent suppression of blogging opinions at News4Jax.com. N4J has made a clear choice to ignore the founding principals of journalism and free press to pursue the all mighty dollar. Under the guise of user convenience, N4J recently switched their blogger format from Disqus to Facebook. By doing so, they are now able to strategically repel any blogger or opinions that might potentially conflict their future political and revenue agendas. Today, their web-site is little more than a garden of cultivated censorship and mediocrity. Accordingly,as the 2012 election draws closer, N4J doesn’t want to risk losing one single dollar as a result of their reader opinions. They have come full circle now from a news agency to a common ad agency...
