Mission Statement

We're here to provide the citizens of Jacksonville and surrounding world with an uncensored forum to freely voice their thoughts about local, state, national and world events. Here, your opinions are not suppressed by the will of advertisers or the dictates of business managers. Unlike many TV news blogs, we don’t owe our soles to outside influences. We don’t care about the political impact of our readers' input. Most of all, we don’t give a damn if we offend the sensibilities of others with the truth.

Scott Promotes Jobs Plan In Jacksonville - Jacksonville News Story - WJXT Jacksonville:
Well, perhaps NEWS4JAX omitted them or Scott didn't mention them but, either way the governor's so called, "seven initiatives,"clearly did not make it into this article. Curiously enough though,  his unsubstantiated boast of 9,000 new jobs per month somehow did. This no doubt is the handy work of N4J selective reporting at work defending our lackluster governor's performance. Other than his assertion and the coincidental mathematical formula of 9,000 jobs a month for 7 years, Scott offered no documented evidence that his campaign promise of 700,000 new jobs is still alive. Accordingly, this now routine Jacksonville whistle-stop, was all about typical smoke, posturing and political lies. Unlike other major Florida cities, Scott knows he'll receive good press in Jacksonville.Additionally, the one item he mentioned that has absolute credibility is his promise to unnecessarily  reform Florida's Unemployment Compensation Program,... of that you can be assured! Unemployment Benefits as well as Workmen"s Compensation have always been  favorite, soft targets of  Florida's Republican governors. They will bend over backwards every chance they get, for the business and insurance worlds, to further gut any entitlement programs for Florida's working citizens.Like most politicians holding higher office, Scott owes his very soul to big business...
