Mission Statement

We're here to provide the citizens of Jacksonville and surrounding world with an uncensored forum to freely voice their thoughts about local, state, national and world events. Here, your opinions are not suppressed by the will of advertisers or the dictates of business managers. Unlike many TV news blogs, we don’t owe our soles to outside influences. We don’t care about the political impact of our readers' input. Most of all, we don’t give a damn if we offend the sensibilities of others with the truth.

Unemployed seek protection against job bias | General Headlines | Comcast.net

Unemployed seek protection against job bias | General Headlines | Comcast.net:
This story is as sad as it is infuriating. The rich and the powerful corporations of this country created the very roots of the nation's economic upheavals. They and they alone brought America to her knees with their endless quest for profits and wealth. They virtually brought down a nation and it's people where not since the great depression has so much unemployment and personal struggle existed. Now, some of those same responsible groups, with their renewed wealth, want to further punish the unemployed masses that they created. They want to permanently exile the working backbone of America's experienced for a cheaper, younger labor force.  The president's jobs program would end that and punish those who further this needless and illegal discrimination. This bill is needed and it's needed now to protect America from the corporate snake the GOP has released upon our great nation. God bless the working people of America...
